Happy November, readers! October was such an incredible reading month for me because I basically all of my reading time was spent in Spain. My partner and I travelled to Madrid, a small town just outside of Madrid, and then to Malaga Spain. And while there I read at least a little bit every day - a lot of that reading I did outside! On our travel day to Malaga, I read an entire book start to finish on the train. It was just seriously such a good reading month.
Now we’re in November and it’s really starting to feel like winter. I have so many books on my TBR for this month and I know I won’t finish them all.. but one can dream, right? It’s Native American Heritage Month here in the US and I’ve filled my TBR with books from Indigenous authors. Plus I have lots of scary books because I just didn’t get enough in October.

Native American Heritage Month
The month of November is recognized as Native American Heritage Month in the United States. This month servers as a reminder to honor and acknowledge Native American heritage and history. This month I am prioritizing the stories and voices of Native American authors, and I encourage you to do the same!

I’ve shared a few different lists of book recommendations (my list of books with queer representation and my list of books that are great for halloween) but I’ve realized I didn’t have just a general list of books that I recommend… so now I do! This is a list that will continue to evolve and grow as I come up with more recommendations so keep in mind it’s not exactly 100% done, but I hope you enjoy!
